It is. Playing costs nothing. Diamonds come from playing too, from achievements, chests and events, and nothing for sale is needed to play well.

Android phones and tablets, in landscape. There is no iPhone or desktop version.

You do. Everyone shares the same sea at the same time, and your progress is kept on our side, not on your device.

Yes. Sign up for Early Access with the Google Account e-mail you use on the Play Store. When your spot opens, the invitation arrives at that e-mail, or the Play Store unlocks the game for you.

No. To play, you sign in with Google or with a DON Account (e-mail and password), and your captain is kept there, not on the device. On the new phone, just sign in with the same account. You create a DON Account in the game itself or at Create a DON Account.

Link Google or a DON Account to your captain under Options › Account. It stays the same captain, with everything you already had.

The D.O.N studio account: an e-mail and a password to sign in to IronWave from any device. It can sit next to your Google account on the same captain, and you sign in with either one. Before you enter the game, confirm your e-mail through the link we send you.

Ask for a link at Forgot my password. It arrives in your e-mail and is valid for one hour. After the change, your other devices ask you to sign in again.

Here on the site: Change password or Change e-mail, confirming it is you with your current e-mail and password. The new e-mail only takes effect once you open the link we send to it.

Check the spam and promotions folders. If it is not there, ask for another on the Create a DON Account page, after filling in the same e-mail.

Only from the eighth sea, the Parrot Lagoon, and even then within a level band. In the first seven there is no captain-versus-captain combat. From Farelhão Bay on there is no limit.

You return to a harbor with a damaged ship and pay for repairs. You lose no levels and no gold. On the open sea, an installed gold weapon may be lost when you sink; diamond weapons are never lost, and whatever is stored in your warehouse is safe.

Skulls are the currency of captain combat: they come from sinking another player on the open sea, cannot be bought and are spent in the skull shop. Your rank is something else: there are twenty, counted by combat points, and it rises when you sink captains and can fall when you are sunk. The top three belong to the captains at the top of the ranking.

You can. There are groups of up to five with loot split evenly, a friends list, live chat, messages and friendly duels. And there are guilds, with their own island, sieges and a monthly season.

There is. Live chat has Global, Guild and Team tabs plus private conversations, only between people who are online: when you leave the game, the conversation is gone. Messages with swear words do not go through, and you can block or report any captain by tapping their name. For notes that need to stay, use Messages, in the Friends panel. More in First steps.

Yes. IronWave speaks Portuguese and Spanish: switch under Options › Language. Spanish speakers also have the Early Access sign-up in Spanish.

The Trilha do Capitão is the paid part of the season pass, bought through Google Play. It covers the whole pass, also unlocks the levels you have already passed and never gives weapons or ship parts. The Trilha do Marujo, the free part, is for every captain. The details are in the economy guide.

Under Options › Account, inside the game, or at Delete account, here on the site, if you use a DON Account. The captain is erased in seven days. That window is there so you can change your mind: just enter the game before then.
